Love Financial was opened in 2018 by Shawn Love, a mortgage business veteran of 20 years. After learning of the Your Family Bank concept she immediately embraced it. Her family is now using the concept to become debt free and she is passionate about helping other families achieve their own financial freedom.
After matriculating from the University of Michigan, she arrived in South Florida in 1999 at the age of 23 with hopes of enjoying the sunshine and the amazing beaches. When she moved to South Florida, Shawn had $300 in her pocket, determination, courage and worried parents. She met a business owner in an electronics store as she was purchasing her first cell phone. This business owner needed someone to answer his phones at his mortgage brokerage company, so Shawn started immediately and has never looked back.
Shawn is widely known in the mortgage industry as an industry expert. This expertise brings a unique quality to Love Financial. She is not only able to assist homeowners with understanding their mortgages better she can also assist them in paying it off faster than ever imagined. Shawn also provides niche services to real estate investors through Love Financial by teaching them how to self-finance.
In addition to being President of Love Financial, Shawn also serves as Vice President for Music 4 Miracles. Music 4 Miracles is a local 501(c)(3) organization that works to bring harmony, hope and healing into the lives of children in need through music and equine therapy programs. Shawn also served as Hollywood Central Elementary PTA President for two years where she spearheaded the effort to install a brand new state-of-the-art keyboard music lab which now provides keyboard and music lessons to every HCE student. Shawn has a huge love of and great respect for all veterans, animals, and anything fine arts related and donates to multiple organizations, respectively.
Away from the office when she is not being loving Wife to her Broadway Actor husband Brian, Mother and chauffer to her amazing ballerina daughter Cyan, or cuddler to her fur baby feline Patches, Shawn enjoys reading and singing in her down time. All of these make her incredibly happy.
When asked what she enjoys most about her career path, Shawn’s answer was simple: “I love the pure joy that I see on people’s faces after we have worked together to make their dreams come true. To be part of that is very special to me.”
